L'heureux donateur : this painting evoque the memory of a place. It is a blury, unprecised memory, which is gone forever and only exists in our mind.
My intention was to convey the nostalgia of the painting in a series of pictures shot in the small hours, a gap between day and night when the sky is blue and nature is quiet. This is the time for introspection and prone to remembering childhood memories. In the book and the video, I chose to superimpose layers and play with the distortion of mental images and transience.
